Right, mother has gone out and brought a new dishwasher from where I work on my discount as the old one has failed - just before xmas!. This dishwasher is several years old but is working fine. We are switching to stainless steel appliances. In fact, we ran it last Friday one last time before we took it out. I have all the papers and manuals that come with it, but it does not have an electrical cord (it was hard wired in) or a water line. $30 cash and you pick it up. You can call Joe at 713-851-4841. My house is closing late Jan, and it was unlocked today, so I went in, and almost everything is done, the kitchen cabinets and counter are installed, but the spot where the dishwasher is supposed to go, has no hydro plug, water line or drain, I looked in the basement and the water line is only going to the sink. Is it possible they forgot to add those things? Should I be concerned ...

Re: Thrifty Dishwasher soap that WORKS! I could be wrong but I think if you have really hard water, like I do, the homemade stuff just simply doesn't cut it. I tried, and tried, and tried. I had to give up. In fact, like the others here who have mentioned they have hard water, I've had no luck with ANY dish detergent except Cascade (...

It may depend on the dishwasher... but I frequently have troubles with rice getting stuck to dishes in the dishwasher. With that said, I'd still never, ever go without a dishwasher again.

Replying to: Eatin Dishwasher Soap Try reading the back of the bottle to see what's in the soap, it may help you and/or your dr. see what it is that your body is "truly" craving. What most other posts have said.....a deficient nutrient of some kind.

the worst thing presumably is that the soap powder in the salt dispenser will froth up - although dishwasher powder isnt as sudsy as washing machine powder, i think. a cycle or two should sort it I think - we often dont top up salt or rinse aid for a ferw washes. and wasting the powder has cost a few quid, but thats the least of the problems,

I love my dishwasher! I dont know if I could do dishes without it We have never not had one. I don't want Riley helping out with it, I think it would be much more of a hindrance.
