Hi Could someone please help me out with the above. My dd has put a disc in the drive and it is spinning and making all the correct noises but nothing is loading. I have tried this with several discs and they are the same I cannot get anything to load. Help will be much appeciated. Thanks

It will only read some CDs/DVDs but not other ones? When it won't read a disc I won't be able to eject it unless I restart the computer & hold the eject button on the keyboard. It's a mac mini so it isn't quite as simple as just installing a new DVD drive....

I have installed a new LG WH08LS20 Blu-Ray Disc Rewriter drive (plug in the SATA power and data cords). Powered up. Went to device manager and the drive was not recognized by the system. When I looked at the motherboard there were 3 places to plug in the SATA data connector. I have tried all 3. What must I do to get the Windows XP to recognize the new drive?
