I was wondering if anyone has attempted adding rear disc brakes to their 08+ Focus, and if it was really worth the $500 plus price tag? We just bought an 08 focus (non-ABS, unfortunately) and are somewhat concerned with the braking of the car. Thanks for any advice you can give. -DC

I have a 69 Torino GT that I hope to start the restoration on in the spring. Right now the car is 4 wheel manual drum brakes, I would like to switch it to Power brakes with Disc in the front. does anyone know what other ford spindles and disc brakes would bolt right in? And secondly, would I be greatly taking away from the value of the car if I do this? Right now it is numbers ...

hey guys, i have a disc swap for my ls1 truck, and i dont have the e-brake cables..... im assuming i need them from a blazer, but my trucks an ext. cab, so i guess i need them from a 4 door???? I actually got cables from the dealer a long time ago, but never opened the boxes.... they arent right ...... the disc brakes i have require the rectangular loops on the brake end, and i have a ball end ...

When replacing the brake pads on a 2004 Camry XLE (4 wheel disc brakes), do you need to rotate the piston while pushing it back into the cylinder or will just a large C-clamp work correctly? Hi I've just bought an Empi disc brake kit for a link pin beam. I've got the dropped spindles on but I've never set up any brakes before. Also, they have neglected to send me any instructions on how to fit them. I wondered if anyone has the same kit and if you have any instructions, could you put them online for me? Cheers Andy
