Hi, the tv in my room has been bitten by this digital switchover thing and frankly i'm furious about it. They've cut off all my channels and now my mums going on and on about how i HAVE to buy some new digibox like a sky box or something to get it to work again. I've had a digital box plugged into this tv before and frankly i couldnt stand the thing, all it gave me was what i already had a load ...

Haven't really been paying much attention to this, but a message on C4, recorded on 1st Dec, said the analog signal will switch off at midnight (in the NorthWest) Sure enough, at 1am, there was no analog. Dug out a freeview box, retuned it, and it could only pick up BBC channels! And on my freeview TV, (although not retuned), the commercial channels seemed to be missing....

BBC1 went a few mins ago, presumably after Film 2009 and before Graham Norton started (I set my DVD recorder going and noticed when it said 'no signal' but I've changed it to Five for when that goes off) I missed C4 but my Mum told me just now it was in the middle of Cast Offs and... just went. There was only a few mins left so I thought they'd have waited until the end....

Apologies if this has been posted before by someone else... Has anyone lost any channels or is anyone getting a lot of interference on certain channels? My mum's lost BBC One and Two and she called this helpline and what they told her to do didn't help, she's been without it for 2 weeks now and is gonna have to ring them again. All my ITV and Channel 4 channels (including things like E4...

I know this will seem like a really stupid question to some ...... Our region is due for digital switchover in 2011. I assume it will be the radio as well as the tv signal that gets turned off when this happens? (My daughter has asked for a alarm clock/radio for christmas)

I have spent considerable time Googling and cannot seem to find an answer to this question. Our local masts, Birch Vale and Ladder Hill are switching over in early December, but will only be carrying 3 Mux’s, are there any plans or a timetable for carrying any more?

The RTENL transmissions lack aspect ratio signalling, constantly set to 16:9. The pictures are soft compared with the BBC. They carry both "analogue" teletext and MHEG text, but no subtitles (either DVB or on teletext 888).

Folks, We go Digitial in 3 months... (can't wait NOT) as a result of the tuner people messing arround with the channel line ups. I've having to rescan about once a week to handle all the updates.... and yes that means twice a day for all channels, CBEEBIES and BBC 3&4 are my favourate examples !
