Before anyone says have i searched, yes i have.... Im swapping diffs in my vl's and just wanted to know the steps to make it easier to line up to install. Tailshaft, lower control arms, upper contol arms ect... I have taken them out and have access to a good jack so just looking at the best way. Cheers

Hello all - My '88 Euro spec 6cyl turbo wagon has a tell tale whine from the differential at highway speeds. I checked the part number on it - R124 351 2508. Does anyone know if diffs from other wagons (gas powered) would fit, or am I stuck trying to find a diesel one?

Are there more then one factory rear diffs out there. In my 07 i have an anti spin and it always spins 2. My 04 had an anti spin and it was a crap shoot. In my 09 that i don't have yet but waiting on claims that it but not on the window sticker. I was woundering if there are options in the factory form. the dealers all tell me that the anti spin in factory but my other 2 trucks it was on the ...

Might be a stupid question but are GQ TD42 4.1:1 diff centres interchangeable front to rear. I can get a rear locker cheap but would prefer a front one. So if a rear locker will fit in the front that's where it's going. Thanks Jas.

So I've got about as tough as you can get in rover stuff with some GBR shafts and CVs with differentials that have a Trutrack in front and a Detroit in back... but I'm heading down the road of larger rubber and I'm afraid it won't take the abuse so I'm thinking I should sell what's on it and upgrade with a toy conversion from RoverTracks or even a Salisbury... so I'm left with am I better off ...

The oil for gear, transferbox, diffs, swivels is EP90 GL4. I've heard that EP90 GL5 is not good news for series gearboxes etc, but motorfactors tells me that GL5 supercedes GL4 and will do no harm. I've used GL5 in overdrive, also rear diff. Trouble??

I want to change the front/rear/center diff fluid and in the FSM, they mention a gasket and some RTV - depending on the diff. Exactly how many parts are required for this? Seems like Amsoil for the front/read diffs and Nissan for the center right?

I've been searching the forum looking for the fluids I will need to change the front & rear diffs, transfer case, & transmission. There are a lot of threads on each and lots of different opinions and seems depending on if its Nismo, xe, se differnt fluids are required. So if some one can give me exacts for an 05 Nismo I would be very grateful.

So I have been a little out of the loop lately. From what I gather there is a company now making gears for the nissan D44 (m266) rear axle, however no one makes gears for any of the front diffs yet (r180 or m205). Is this correct? Since the M205 front diff was used by nissan for all of their V8 trucks, what are the gear ratios of them all. I know that the titan maxes out at 3.369(?). But...
