It appears to me that Greenlight has either contracted High Speed to make diecast for them, or bought some of their dies. The Jag XKE, Porsche 356, and Gallardo in Greenlight's Motor World series looked very familiar, since I was a big fan of the High Speed products released under the Malibu International label @ Wal Mart a couple of years ago. Looking at the Series 2 models listed on ...

Hello all! I normally stay in the diecast world, but I am currently working on a project that needs to have a plastic body and needs to be a fairly large vehicle, like a straight truck or dairy delivery. Can anyone here think of anything that would work that wouldnt be too hard to come across? The base doesnt matter as that will be completely scratch built. Thanks in advance!!!

All 1:1 cars usually have some clever or unique feature, be it a small, rather insignificant one to a prominent, important and totally unique one. Diecast makers can sometimes gloat over which is the coolest feature they incorporate into a particular model; for collectors, that ballyhooed feature is often debatable, such as an opening gas cap, a rotating drive shaft, moveable sun visors. I ...

I got the blinds on sale at Menard's. This box is the 24x48. The ones in the pics are 24x72. You can see in these pics there are slots in the middle that the pull strings go through to raise the blinds. I removed these strings, removed each slat and drilled holes on each end. I used a template to keep all of the holes aligned. I then replaced the slats, hung the blinds and...
