Author's Note: I would like to thank my beta Fleur du mal for saving me from making two separate canon errors in this chapter, one of which would very definitely have come back to bite me later on! And also for an excellent suggestion which I took. While I'm at it, I may as well also thank her for her consistently great level of suggestions and support for me. Any shortcomings in this...

Now that my depression over the Angels loss to the RedSox is subsiding, I have had the chance to watch the playoffs with more of an impartial eye. It has been interesting to actually watch the games without hanging on every pitch. I think it has given me a more "forest from the trees" perspective. I share my thoughts from this experience below 1) The playoffs are all about hitting in ...

Warning: This post has HYP and PP related elements. Ive posted a link to it on the HYP strategy board. I was motivated to write this because of all the recent posts, mainly from LTBHers, about feelings of panic due to capital losses and regrets that stocks were not sold earlier to provide cash for the upcoming bargains. My approach is largely LTBH and I too have suffered ...

I think first you should talk to your friend and make sure he's going to be okay. Then you need to approach the student who did this. I'm sure the student didn't realize he was doing something that would hurt anyone and I believe if you tell him how he affected your friend (in a non-confrontational way) he'll try and make it up to your ...

Just for shits and giggles...I thought it might be interesting to look at some realities of relationships. Seems everyone wants to get to know each other and live together before they commit to each other and possibly marry. Unfortunately...the statistics say thats the wrong way about it. The longer you know someone...the less chance of a happy LTR/marriage. Even cohabitation isnt a good idea ...

Here is a problem that I've been battling with incremenatlly for the past month with almost getting to the final solution. I'm aiming to get to a point where I select a menu-item from Excel , therby triggering a call to a command within the xll compiled code. This part was easily achievable. Yet the reason that I approach you ou there Gurus is because in the function that is called I ...

I read this article that got me to thinking. http://www.omaha.com/index.php?u_page=1219&u_s id=10452681 Personally, I think it's fantastic that men are taking this approach. I mean, if you know you don't want kids, why not? The question up for debate is what, if any, "requirements" there should be for permanent sterilization. Men, or women. Currently, most doctors won't perform a ...

I feel like this week's episode of Heroes represents progress of a sort: forward momentum in the story, some good action pieces and more for Adrian Pasdar to do. I'm far from being completely back on board, but the focused approach to this week's main story was welcome despite some of the usual Heroes silliness. These spoilers can't be reversed. It's not as if the episode was ...

WARNING - TMI contained herein Well I had an AWFUL weekend. On Saturday, I woke up to red bleeding. It was definitely more than spotting, but it wasn't heavy and I didn't have any cramping. It was kind of like a light period. I have had spotting issues this entire pregnancy thus far which the doctors and nurses originally chalked up to my progesterone suppositories irritating me down ...
