Years ago while I was using BJU DVDs, one of the teachers talked about the differences in dictionaries and how it's important to use a prescriptive dictionary vs. a descriptive one. She gave examples of each, but at that time I wasn't in the market for a dictionary. Anyone know of any good, prescriptive, collegiate dictionaries?

If you don't count how easy/hard it is to implement a file structure with dictionaries vs. plain text, and assume that the programmer knows how to reliably handle using either method, is there any advantage to using dictionaries for data storage and retrieval vs. plain text? Hello, What does decrial means? I am translating safety instructions (machine). This is the complete sentence: Pls Use the tool only in well-ventilated area, and avoid any ignition sources, such as smoking, open flames and decrial hazard . I found this word in some dictionaries but it has to do with crying, condemmning, etc. Thank you!
