Can LCD monitors be connected to the VGA out of the Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop? I've tried using VGA out to RCA cables to my TV but that didn't work, I think because it doesn't support TV out, but would that also be the case with an LCD computer monitor. I've googled it and can't find great answers. Can someone tell me what's usually required in computer specs to do something like this?
