Need help installing the right combo to boot after install. I have completely installed the os on my dell optiplex 755. After restart and at darwin boot screen I enter -v -f but its still hangs (waiting on root drive). Is this a simple fix? If so what am i doing wrong?

Sorry about the confusion. I thought the drivers each had there own modules. I tried the Puppy Linux Cd. that didn't work to get the onboard graphics. I'll have to look for another card. Thanks

if your KVM doesn't correctly pass on the monitor capability report there's no way this can be handled automatically. Manual configuration is the only route. s-c-d is unfortunately a bit deprecated these days and doesn't always do the right thing. http://wiki.debian.org/XStrikeForce/HowToRandR12 is a better reference for modern configuration.
