Hi, I am planning to be in the dehradun area early in Dec with a close friend. I was wondering where we could go for some good scenery and peace...I dont really care where we go, as long as it is quiet and scenic, since the idea is to have some qt together....meeting this childhood friend after a long time....any suggestions?

Having visited doon a few weeks ago I do not understand the fuss. Apart from it being close to Mussoorie it is nothing to write home about. Same goes for Mussoorie, give me Shimla any day of the week.

Thank you for this. What is the closest drive from Shimla , Ambala or Dehradun and how far are they from Shimla? I didn't think there was a train station near Corbett NP, obvisouly I'm mistaken which station is closest? Cheers
