Optimizing Windows To Slow Down Performance Degradation of SSD's 1. Disable Disk Defragmentation The first thing you should do is make sure any form of disk defragmentation is disabled. To do this, right click the drive in My Computer and browse to the SSD?s Properties > Tools > Defragmentation and make sure that scheduled defragmentation is set to "never" for your drive. As ...

Note: The following is speaking directly from/to a combat oriented character standpoint. Question: Do you feel too limited by the current Rank Bonus Degradation. Does it drop off too suddenly and too low? if so what would a better degradation rate/rank be in your opinion. Or do you think spreading it out over higher ranks will end up being just the same yet taking longer to get there? ...

Can we get a scientifically confirmed list going on the degradation and/or destruction temperatures of opiates? I prefer to plug my opiates, and I usually get extended release formulas which are waxy and a hassle to dissolve effectively. I have also picked up a nice digital thermometer, so I would like to get the water I will use to dissolve the opiates at the highest-possible-...

The more concentrated a solution the lower the degradation. In fact super-concentrated reconstituted peptides are very stable. How low? As low as you can go and still measure accurately. For instance I reconstitute mod GRF(1-29) (2mg) in .20ml of BW. That makes a 100mcg dose equal to .01ml or 1iu. I'd like to go lower because the research went lower but I can't measure a dose ...

Since updating to KIS 2010, my WinXP SP3 performance has been degraded significantly. I can't exactly pinpoint the problem to KIS, but it seems the most obvious culprit. The KIS taskbar icon "blinks" (flashing between a smaller and the normal sized icon) very frequently, and when I open the KIS window, I can see the "Total scanned" number going up slowly but steadily. The system also ...

Hi, I am developing a custom Web Part that will do a will card search. Will there be a large change in performance in doing wild card searches when compared to a normal standard search? In addition to this are there any other matters that I should be aware of when doing wild card searches. Thanks Arjuna.

I just got an x25-m g2 and the performance is degrading rather quickly. 352 in AS SSD bench 2 days ago 327 today. The only thing I could figure is my network activity. I run utorrent with data going to a networked share, but I notice that the network activity is quite active on the pc running the x25 g2 as well. So if I'm d/ling at 1mb/s I am also uploading as fast. Does this mean that the data ...

I notice this video in another thread and it shows some great detial in the ice when it degraded: Seems that over the period of time, the 'snow' builds up on top of the ice better then it does right now. For NHL 10 just looks like skate marks build up on the ice, but not snow. I also recall from NHL 06 I believe that the ice degradation was ...

Any word on when Intel is going to release the new firmware updater for their SSD drives. I just bought 4@ X18-M 80GB drives for near highway robbery prices but they have the 8610 firmware in them and therefore practically useless due to degradation issues with this version. Does anyone still have the updater with the 8820 firmware I can get emailed to me?

Hi, I am using Windows XP Pro. My hard drive is small, 34.9 GB. Currently 19.6 GB (or 56%) is free. At approximately what percent of used space will the computer start suffereing degradation of performance? Thank you.
