Does anyone have any advice/things to watch out for in respect of a Deferred Completion? We have sold our house and our buyer wants to complete at the end of January. However the owners of the house we are buying can't move out until June. This means we have to go into rented accommodation for 5 months. Can anyone please clarify what exactly this means? The School of Administrative Studies has discontinued use of Deferred Standing Agreements effective the Winter 2007 term. Students taking ADMS courses who wish to defer term work or final examinations are now required to petition to their home faculty for deferred standing. Does this include if you are sick WITH a doctors note?

I hear increasingly about the efficiency of keeping emergency funds in tax deferred accounts as long as one's portfolio (taxable portfolio, I believe) is large enough. How large does one's portfolio need to be before they should consider this strategy? In my case, I believe my taxable portfolio is roughly seven times the size of my emergency fund (6 months expenses). Would it be appropriate ...

Profit from operations was $44K, even after the revenue increase and cutting expenses to unsustainability by $1.5 million. This is what charging 4 cents per delivery yields ? zero operating margin. The other income is mainly from renting out ...

My deferred task is supposed to send an email notification on a pre-set date. The Email is being sent as it should. Hi all I have developed ecommerce sites for customers before, but this customer wants something different. Ideally they want to take the order, including payment details and process the payment themselves through their MOTO terminal in house before dispatch. My initial thoughts said this is not possible, however, reading this article has left my with confusion. Quote:...

My sister is coming up to sixty and has to decide on whether to defer her state pension. She can manage on the income from her current job, which is under no threat, and feels that she should defer it for another few years if it stacks up. Does anyone have any advice or thoughts, please? Thanks, Harry.
