I'm just in the process of setting up my own business, I've paid for my education myself up until now, and I'm trying to work out which is better for tax deductable expenses (expenses which are deducted form your yearly tax bill, think I've called them the right thing ) with regards to training and other things. Ltd or Sole trader? The courses I want to do are related to my business but one ...

After going through my 6 month weight management I finally got my insurance approval. Only problem is that the doctor can't schedule my surgery until January 20. We have a high deductable plan...the deductable is about $5000. This will kick back in after the first of the year. I don't think we can afford to pay that in a lump sum and I don't know if my doctor's office will work out payments...

Hi John, I am a home owner selling a home in California and have 2 questions: 1) Is the commission fee paid to a licensed real estate agent tax deductible? 2) Is the same commission fee paid to a NON-licensed person tax deductible? Thank you in advance for your time. Pauline Answer Pauline, Thanks for your question. I presume you are talking about your personal residence and ...

Just got a CEL light today. It's not flashing, just ON as soon as I start the car and stays ON. I didn't notice any performance loss or anything. Any ideas? I could take it to the dealer but it's not exactly close. And they charge $100 deductable reguardless. Should I just buy a scaner from a local parts store and find out what code it spits out, and see if I...

So today I find out that I was accepted to medi-cal (state insurance) I didn't have insurance with my previous pregnancy and when I finally could afford to start buying insurance I was such a newb that I had no idea what my deductable was and it turned out to be ridiculous so I canceled it. Anyway, I am so relieved to know that I have health insurance now (for the whole family!) and I ...

I just got a letter from my health insurance provider stating that my maternity deductable will increase from $6500 to $7500 next year. 1 1/2 years ago it was at $5000. I can't believe this. Even if we have supplemental insurance it will cost us at least $5000 out of pocket. Sheesh. I realize that health care especially in this particular area of health is very expensive, but wow..... I ...

When it is clearly the other driver's fault (as in this case since she went through the red light, etc.) we can request that oiur insurance company request that her insurance company reimburse us for the deductable. That can take anywhere from one to six months and ONLY if they agree ...
