My baby girl is two months old and doesn't wanna eat, she normaly has 4 to 6 ozs of formula and now shes only taking 1 or 2 ozs at a time. Shes been drooling and eating her hand lately, she hasnt been extremely fuzzy but she always wants to be carried and shes sleeping more than usual.... what can be causing this? Can she be teething? is there anything i can do to get her to eat more?

Hi ladies, I posted about this a while ago and have since read the archives, but I am still at a loss about what to do. Our daughter did great on Zegerid 40 mg at a low dose--4 mg x 2 day--for about two weeks and then the reflux came back with a vengeance. So, we upped the medicine way up with our GI's approval--6 mg x 3 day--and in about two days she pretty much stopped eating. She's been...

I read or heard somewhere that once your weight starts to plateau or you start to lose weight and aren't as hungry as you have been, then that means the baby is ready to come out? Any truth to this?

Hi mommies, My daughter is on day 4 of Zegerid 40 mgs mixed with tums as instructed on this board. She had two straight days of mostly screaming (gas? stomach pain?) and now seems to have settled a bit but is suddenly not eating nearly as much as she used to. She is 9 weeks old, 11 lbs 8 oz at last check, breastfed or bottle-fed with EBM, and we give her 4 mg (2mls) twice a day. I know ...

Hi Ladies.  LO is on Neocate and Nexium.  This combination appears to be working pretty well.  No screaming fits and rarely any discomfort.  Still some silent reflux but he doesn't seem bothered by it.  However, he still doesn't eat very much.  He is only eating bewteen 15-20 ounces a day (thickened with 1 1/2 tsp rice per ounce).  He doesn't seem uncomfortable when he eats anymore, no arching ...

my 5 month gsd pup has been eating less. when he was 4 months he usually finishes about 2 full bowls in a day, and he gains weight normally. He was at 52 pounds at 5 months. Ever since he turned 5 months, he been eating less. He only finishes 1 bowl a day. Should I be worried? I weighed him last week and he weighs around 54 pounds, which is good. But im scared he's not gonna put on weight ...

We are on prevacid but when my LO was still having some syptoms my pedi told us to up the dose for a couple of days and then bring it back down. Maybe that is something you can do.  You might also want to try another ppi.
