http://www.paragon-software.com/free/giveaway.html It's large because of a bootable ISO in the download, for the most effective defrag possible, needs to boot from CD and do the system partition offline. While you're there in the free download section, look at some of the other free tools they have, like Rescue Kit.

Hello, I'm running Windows XP service pack 3 on a Compaq V.1.05 with a pentium 4 1500MHz processor. I was defragging drive C with Auslogics disk defrag program and the computer crashed during the defrag. It now cycles through an endless loop @ startup. Just how many "phases" does PC matic have to go through to complete a defrag? I ran the test and am optimizing but now it is defragging and is at "Phase 6" ???? How many phases are there???????

Hi! I plan to defrag the mailbox store/add registry keys to update the 18gb limit and update the limits at the store level. Only reason I plan to defrag is because Outlook can be slow to start-up on client PC's and occasionaly we get an 'Outlook is trying to receive ....' message/pop-up. Could a defrag be a fix? When I really should have around 110+ gigs of freespace?!? What do I do about this??? It already had a couple partitions when it was asking what I should do with it and I did notice that C: only has 13 gigs left. H:has like 5gigs, but I formatted that since I dont want the hp recovery since it stinks. I got rid of the rest of those partitions, but still I have only 17gigs on the C: drive.
