Two nights ago DH and I had our first date night in ages!!! After work my BFF and her DH picked up Teddy and took him back to their house so DH and I could have some quality time together. I took a twenty minute shower and actually shaved my legs (a luxery I haven't had time for in quite a while). I wore my hair down, put on sexy underwear-including a bra that actually had an undwerwire! Plus, ...

i recently had a little chit chat with df's aunt and i told her how i HATE going out and leaving DS with a babysitter, and she told me that it's perfectly fine, as long as you completely trust the babysitter (in this case, DFs dad and his wife) - moms deserve a night out 2ce a month. i thought THAT was a little much, i absolutely HATE being away from my son, but i know it's helping him not ...

When you and your DH/SO/BF get a date night, what do you like to go out and do? My MIL offered to come sit at our house after Gavin goes to bed. We get to spend time with him, and have some fun together. It's always a perfect combination to me - we don't miss family time, we get couple time, and Gavin doesn't even know we're gone! Anyway, we will probably go out for wine and appetizers...

My husband bought tickets to a spurs vs warrior basketball game. The warrior is his team... My mom will be babysitting the boys tomorrow while we go to the game. I don't care about the game but we need some time to reconnect with each other. We will go out to dinner and then to the game... I'm so excited to get some alone time with hubby...

So excited, Rob's on his way home and we are going to cuddle in bed, watch Four Christmases on demand (neither of us have seen it yet) and eat Taco Bell. It's the little things lately. I have been getting over the flu and stuck in bed all day with Little Miss Flippity-Flop and BBC on iPhone. This has been going on for over a week and it's driving me crazy! But I love my man, he's bringing ...

Sort of a vent/ramble.... So Saturday night DH and I were supposed to get a date night out. We haven't had a night out together since Labor day weekend. We were going to eat out and see New Moon (my choice - DH wasn't all that interested but was going along to make me happy). Well, MIL is our designated babysitter since none of my family lives anywhere close and we just can't bring ...

I love my dh. He is really TOO good to me. He knows how stressed out I've been lately with school and has tried to help me out in any way he can. I am so appreciative of him and of his consideration. However, today,he really out-did himself. He sent me an email at 4:40 this afternoon, and all it said was, "I bought tickets for....." Unfortunately, I didn't check my email until 10, after I got ...

Lol, our date nights are boring. Dinner out (or desert) and usually shopping together. Or we go to some electronics store....... It's fun, but we always feel so pathetic and old!

Replying to: Date night - not so much... I know how hard it is to trust someone with your child. We don't have any family in the city where we live so it took until my son was 18 months that I actually used a paid babysitter. I asked my friends who they used and I ended up with 3 lovely babysitters all from one family! This weekend I used another girl upon recomendation and she was ...
