Just a quick question, hopefully someone will be able to answer with a link to a government approved resource as it will help me no end with a "work issue" I'm having at the minute The crux of it is that I am being investigated by my employer for breaching the DPA by divulging the difference between my rate of pay as an employee fully qualified & accredited in my field, and the NMW as paid...

I was doing some checking tonight to see if one of the cashback sites I've found had registered for data protection as I was a little concerned by the look of the site. I started checking if all the cashback sites I use have registered and they all have which is good news except for one which is Rpoints/Cashback Kings. Although they display that they are registered for data protection at the ...

Does anyone have a good knowledge of this subject please? I ask because I received a letter at home today from a local government department that had not been given my address. I believe they obtained it via council tax records for one of my investment properties. It was my understanding that there was a ruling a while back that prevented councils sharing council tax data with other ...

"...for one of my investment properties..." - so if the LA had the address they could look him up as the registered owner I presume. Yes, but they couldn't find out where I live. When I was doing this a few years ago, we would charge admin time if the request was overly onerous. I think we charged £25 per hour, and this would incorporate all time spent from pulling the file right up to putting the postage on. "Overly onerous" was subjective, but I think it was fair. Maybe the charge would focus the requestor's mind somewhat? It would only focus the requestor's ...

Thingis CSA_Help revenge is a dish best served cold No point in getting wound up at about because the truth will out and one day your child WILL understand. We have been down the same route as you and ended up with a £15K bill, but the kids know how hard we tried and we still have a good relationship with them. Good luck with your DP files
