I recently had my drivers side headlight replaced at Autozone. Since then my dashboard and my radio lights stay on even with the key completely out of the car. If i turn the car on the lights turn back off. Im really clueless when it comes to cars. Any advice would be very much appreciated

If your battery tests fine, yellow tops take a bit to drain,,have one myself, then it is your alternator. Sounds like your alternator is not properly charging the battery and your car is running from battery power alone until it drains. Most likely, if you havent fixed the PS leak, it is full of fluid and finally dead. You can have autozone test the charging system for free. Of course check ...

Thanks for the reply Tony, the problem is still ongoing with this car, only thing found so far is that the carpet / underlay was absolutely soaking wet because of what turned out to be a water leak from top of bulkhead where main wiring loom comes through on drivers side under wiper motor, its a known fault apparently so I fixed that but the problem comes & go's, I did notice when I had the front...

Thanks a lot, it did take 2 attempts to start this morning. And yes, its a 1.2 16v. Not with RAC but dad is a mechanic, just wanted to make sure im ok driving it with that light on and doing anymore damage!!
