Remove all Advertisements One side of my forks feels like there is little or no damping until about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way down the stroke when suddenly there is lots of impact dampening and also lots of rebound dampening, until it leaves that zone where it goes back to being just springy. it has the right amount of oil in it and the other side of...

I just had my Samsung WF-J1254 washer and DV665JW dryer delivered on Friday. WF-1254 doesn't have VRT so I ordered a set of Good Vibrations vibration dampening pads and I am very pleased with them. The WF-J1254 is belt drive with 1200 rpm so it has a lot of force for a small unit. Mine are stacked and they definitely shimmy going in and out of the spin cycle but they don't move and are quite ...

So I stoped by one of the many shops I sell parts to and they had some of it laying around. According to them it's the new material Sony is using in their new building for sound dampening. So guess who's gonna put it on his car . . . . . Anyone heard of this product???? Register today or sign-in to remove these ads!...

Did a quick search...didn't see anything specific on this. Guy has a set of Endura Tech coilovers, fully adjustable height and dampening with around 1000kms on them. Anybody have these on their car? Opinions on them?

On my Super lll just purchased it has the optional? rear shock, aluminum body, red spring, preload, compression, and rebound dampening adjustability, with a remote nitrogen resevoir under the rear body work on the right side. Looks like a factory install alright... I have never seen one on any other T3 series bike. I found it in the parts catalog I think. Does anyone know who made it for ...

I just bought this wonderful snare drum; a limited edition Pearl Sensitone Elite Brass 14"x6.5". However, I seem to have a problem with ringing. Not just the ordinary ring, this one has metallic "piuuu"-buzz sound everytime I hit it. Dampening rings helped a little but didn't nearly eliminate it. What kind of heads and snares would you recommend for this drum? Also, what kind ...

I guess good points. and i guess when i look it my point is kind of biased because ive only used fat mat on my car and dynamat on some one elses and none of the others. i would like to get my hand on some second skin to tell the difference. i haven't really heard anything bad about them.

the weather is gonna be nice tomorrow.... a good way to tell if you have inverted struts (and thus probably adjustments on the bottom) is to look and see if your strut shafts are massively thick. they aren't actually the strut shaft then, and this means they're inverted. - andrew

These are some cabinets a really shouldn't have bought. They have a port on the bottom. 8 inch woofer 6 inch mid, 3 inch cheesy pizo tweeter. I would send you a picture but I am to embarrass I replaced the eight inch woofers with some from a Bose 201s. The six inch mids are now infinitys. The tweeters are also from the 201s. I am stuck with these and now paying for my impulsive sins. I will ...

Hey kateskouros On the GVI website they recommend just trying the pads without the discs first (discs are adhesive to stick the vibration pads to the floor - I think). My concern would be that the only way you can move the machines even a bit is to lift them out of the pads - could be bad if you need a service call. Not sure on other surfaces but on tile the pads don't move nearly as easily ...

No doubt "champ de brouillage" is what the lazy/inept scriptwriter had in mind, but what he said was "attenuateur". A "damper" in a furnace air intake decreases the air flow in order to modulate the rate of burning. "Brouillage" is "scrambling" if done by the sender to avoid decryption by foes and "interference" or "jamming" if done by foes to interfere with communication. One can attenuate ...
