Hi, as what I read about DSDT, it is part of BIOS and it is created by board manufacturer. But to get my hackintosh woking I have to create my own. Why I cann't use that one from BIOS on my board? Or did I miss something? Thanks.

I did port of great DSDT research that Master Chief did for Asus P5K PRO to Gigabyte's motherboard's. This DSDT for my GA-EP45-UD3LR (ICH10R) only a template for things that possible to do with your DSDT. Still work in progress, but this is what i done so far: All devices renamed to MacPro3,1 style. Removed unused devices. (Floppy, Com, LPT, IDE (JMicron), etc...) USB fixed. ...

I just want to know, if i upgrade my bios, must i repatch my dsdt.aml so furtheron does OSX read only the DSDT.aml or also part of the bios or does osx without DSDT just kext - class and ID matching glad, if someone could answer

My friend helped me to get my installation of 10.5.6 to work. And I know that he has created the Damn DSDT for my motherboard (MSI X48C Platinum) so where is the file so that I dont need to ask him to compile it again next time? Thanks.

Hi i'm looking for someone to patch my DSDT for me with all the fixes. Fixes for USB, LAN, X3100 (So i can get rid of the natit.kext), Sound, ICH8-M etc. I'd be very grateful if some can do this as then I can complete the Boot CD i'm making for people with this laptop. So I'm learning how to do stuff with DSDT, and I know how to inject data for my graphics, but now I want to also do that with my display. For graphics you can do like "@0,name", Buffer (0x0F) { "NVDA,Display-A" }, and then that shows up as the name in IORegistryExplorer under .../NVDA,Display-A@0. I want to be able to change the "DisplayVendorID" property in .../NVDA,Display-A@0/NVDA/...

Hi, I installed Snow Leopard and updated to 10.6.2 on my notebook. Chameleon 2 RC3 and pcefi 10.5 But there are two problems left unresolved: 1. CPUS=1. Without this, it cannot boot. 2. Hello, so I succesfully installed with iDeneb 1.5.1. Ticked Voodoo 9.5.0 Kernel, ATI x1300 Driver, Realtek8169 Ethernet driver , and left audio driver out. might have ticked DSDT. Installs fine, reboots, I use -v -f flag. It starts loading. It loads fast so I'm unable to see what it's doing. Stickpin, I have almost the same config as you: EP45-UD3LR, Q9550 (overclocked to 4,03 GHz), 8GB RAM, etc. With your DSDT, both my PCI slots are working! How the heck did you make that happen? With my own custom DSDT (made with ACPI Patcher and TextEdit) first PCI slot is not usable - only the second one works... Is there any way I could implement your PCI routines into my DSDT?...
