To any of the current DPT student if you could advise me on good books to refresh Anatomy and Physiology for the first year of DPT program I would greatly appreciated. I took both 7 years ago and even though I use some for training people and teaching yoga I think that I need more of a solid foundation to start the school. Any other advice to prepare for the school would be appreciated.

Hello, I got accepted for a DPT program starting this fall but I'm starting to have second thoughts about my ability to do well in the program and being a mom. Because I'm not a traditional student I won't be able to comitt as much time to study as other students...and I know that the program requires total dedication...any advice would be helpful...as I finally make up my decision. I have been ...

Hello - I am new to this board, but have been reading the posts for a few months now. Thank you for all your kindness and advice! I am applying to DPT programs at Hunter, SUNY/Downstate and SUNY/Stony Brook. I've already had my interview at Hunter last week (it went great!) but I haven't heard a boo from SUNY/Downstate. They did cash my check on 12/2, so I'm assuming that my application was ...

Hi all - new to Bladeforums but seems like a great source of info! I've been strongly considering picking up one of the newer Rant models, specifically the 10502 DPT as I'm in the market for a good all around affordable stainless steel fixed blade camp/survival knife that is moderately thick in the blade. My question is about the grind on this particular knife as I've come across conflicting ...

Is there a reason to join one of the books over another? Outside of the Looselines bonus? Tomato is talking about ABC Islands/Jazz/LooseLines. Tomato has getting banned/limited from a few too many of his outs and is exploring new options at this point. Opinions on BetOnline appreciated as well. Tomato would LOVE to play at WSEX but doesn't feel his money is safe there.

Just curious how many days post transfer you got your BFP HPT? I'm 5dp5dt and got a BFN. Hoping it's just way too early. However last FET I got a bfp on 6dp5dt unfortunately it ended in m/c. Was really hoping this was the one.

We adopted 4 dogs over the course of time that we lived in NC. We had to put down our last of the 4 today. He was nearly 15. Can I tell you a story? On a hot summer day, about 85 degrees, DH and I drove into the parking lot of Wal-Mart nearly 15 years ago. DH heard a sound and said, "What's that?" I didn't hear the sound, and he said, "It ...

Does anyone else here also think that getting the dual degree would be a good idea? With the changing of our healthcare system, why not get both? It would help us become a stronger force in the medical field, as well as create more autonomy! I feel like the two fields SHOULD be melded into one! Why have two seperate rehab fields (OT/PT) when you could meld both together and become a "master at ...

I have been to five different chiropractor--a few for several years--to treat pain from SI joint dysfunction. I've had pain ease a bit but never go away completely. A week ago, I saw a DPT who diagnosed me with an iliac up-slip. She did a quick adjustment that seemed too gentle to do anything to the joint. Guess what? By the next day, thirty years of constant pain is gone. Completely gone. Now ...

I couldn't find this anywhere in the sweep information in GBI, so I'm asking it here, because I'm fairly sure the answer was made public somewhere. If an average (as opposed to defensive or offensive) post-sweep armor does X DPT on average, what would the average DPT of a max offensive armor of the same level be? What about a max defensive armor?
