Anyone ever use DOSBox to play old games? i just went to the site on my work laptop and norton (never use at home) says it is a trojan site and gave me some warnings. unfortunately i already installed it on my home PC before my laptop, but havent run it yet. Also, Avira didnt say anything and I also scanned it w 2 other programs and they said the file is clean as well so idk what to think...

Hi all, I downloaded DOSBox and have been trying to get it to run on my Mac. I was wondering if anyone with a Mac has used DOSBox and has any recommendations for configuration settings. Hello im trying to play z 95 on an xp os.i can install it fine but wen i click on game exe it starts and then closes straight away.iv tried using dosbox v1.63 (i think it that version) but was too confusing to use and didnt work...i also tried daemon tools but that didnt work either. any suggestions would be much appreciated

I've been using DosBox .073 for a while now and I'm getting tired of having to "Mount" drives every time I want to play a game. So, I decided to hunt for the "dosbox-0.73.conf" file so that I can permanently "mount" my drives. Good Old Games (GOG) has these two classic detective games available for download for free until Christmas Eve. These are packaged for Windows users, but Mac users like me can just grab the game files and use them directly with DOSBox.
