I have had a DMP in place now for over 3 years & it ticks by OK. I have never missed any payments & always respond when the creditors ask for a review. In the DMP i have never made any allowance for Xmas or birthdays ( i have 3 kids), i just always hope a little extra turns up which it normally has. However this year it hasn't plus everything has started to breakdown, washing machine, tv & beds ...

Not sure if anyone can help me with this but I currently have a DMP where I am charged 20% each month in fees. Does anyone know if I can change over and if there are any companies that dont charge fees - meaning my debts are paid off quicker? Thanks

My debts have been mounting due to various changes in my circumstances and I took the decision this year on the 16th November that my only option was to start a DMP, which I have done with Payplan. I have opened a new bank account and stopped payments to my creditors etc and Payplan are now in the process of contacting each of my them to negotiate a new payment plan which will hopefully, if ...

Hello, I'm in a DMP with CCCS and whilst most of my creditors are fine, Lloyds and Northern Rock won't stop interest and it's high. Unfortunately NR are my largest creditor with £18.6K. My ex partner and myself had a mortgage with NR but when we separated we had negative equity. Our only option was to get a loan with NR to cover it and the loan was pretty high interest. When we separated...
