So I was trying to fix our microwave and I hooked up my DMM to the emitter to check and see if it was getting proper voltage. I think it was because it fried the hell out of my DMM which was sitting on top of the microwave. As such, I'm looking to buy a new DMM. Hi, I try to download the new version 3.0.1 of the DMM into my computer, however, it said "The compressed (zipped) folders error: Windows cannot open the folder, the compressed (zipped) folder is invalid" does anyone get this problem? I already download twice, but the problem still the same. current version of DMM: 2.9

HI, I have a PXI-4071 DMM and I am acquiring voltage at 100 Hz using the Interval triggering. I also want the acquisition to start only when the Star Trigger line is activated from a FPGA board. Not sure if this should go under VINTAGE test equipment or not, but I'm looking for some advice / suggestions: Apart from an AVO 8, I have had a number of cheap DMMs, and now feel the need to get a DMM which will be more substantial / reliable, my question is this - if I am not wanting to spend any more than say £30-£40 on a DMM, am I better off getting a new one, or should I find a 2nd user ...

Ok ive read a shitload of tutorials on this, i have all the knobs on amp to the min, subs unhooked , and settings on HU where i want them, and I have a 50hz tone from Realm of Excursion on cd. Volume at 25/35. I have my DMM set to AC 20 V , and i connect the prongs into the terminals and even with the gain at max ,the highest reading im getting is 8.49 ? What am i doing wrong ?

Hi Brad, Since you're getting error -1074118650, you may want to check out the solution in this post that refers to the possibility that your F1 fuse is blown. I would recommend checking it to see if that's the problem. As well, I would highly recommend installing the latest DMM driver . Thanks,

Not really. I kind of looked at the charts. Added some DMM, K, TRY, and a couple of others. I will sell these on a rally because they are traders but hopefully lower my core cost. I like to buy the PLUNGES, and sell the SPIKES.

Added some more DMM traders as well... also eyeing GSL but I believe it's into the period where the warrants excercise can be expediated so I'm pretty leary of that as that will put short term pressure on the stock in an already weak market

Hi Tobias, Thanks for the respond! I did delete all the file that I download before and re-download the file from the website. and it looks working alright at this time. so I guess probably it got some interrupt during the download procedure before! Thanks and have a good day!
