I brewed a Witbier today. It came out at 1.040 which is a bit low - I was hoping for 1.044. I only realised once it was in the primary with the yeast. Can I boil some DME and add it to the fermenter ? How much water and how much DME to increase OG to 1.044 ? Or should I just accept it as it is ?

I'm familiar with the EWS aligning that is required when you swap the DME in an OBD2 E36. If you also swap in the EWSII module that is already tuned to that DME, does that eliminate the need to have a BMW mechanic involved, and allow the car to start? Or does that simply change the issue to the new EWS module not recognizing the chip in the key and it still won't ...

We are signed up to use DME when we arrive in Orlando. I want to pick up our own checked luggage, instead of waiting for DME people to get them for us. Does the tipronic computer have the same security code feature as the DME/IMMOB/FOB? Reason I ask is that I have a car where I had an IMMOB disintegrate due to water. For testing purposes I replaced the IMMOB and DME with a matching set from Oklahoma Foreign. I got the DME tags in the mail yesterday. I guess this means it is actually, finally happening. I thought it would never get here. It is getting close to our 30 day count so I guess I should be thinking about posting a PTR in hopes that I will help someone else as all you all have helped me in my planning.

Hi all, was wondering if anyone knows how i can replace female parts of the pins inside the 55 pins connector to pdas on the 964. Any ideas on repairing those pushed/crushed pins ? it started with it running on 3 cylinders, so i got new plugs/wires and sent my injectors to witchhunter and that didn't fix the running problem. so i get a dme harness and replaced that thanking that the injector wiring may be broken. it ran but still on 3 cylinders. but i had a moment of stupidity and unplugged the reference sensor (i think i thought it was plugged into the wrong connection) ...
