I WAS watching Bama and Florida on DirecTV but not anymore. THE SEC Championship game, broadcast in Hi Def and the CBS WCBI feed from DirecTV looks like it was broadcast in the 50's. Horrible!!!!!! I had to swap over to an antenna and watch WCBI direct for a picture perfect Hi Def experience. DirecTV sucks!!!!

I am going to switch to Dish Network HD, from Directv HD not by choice. I will probably have basic Dish Network HD (which I had with Directv). Can anyone tell me if I will be missing Directv or is Dish better?

Consider DirecTV or DISH my only 2 options. I am new to sattelite TV. Which would you recommend and why? Tell me about your experiences with both. Just got my Storm 2 and was hoping to be able to watch supercast. Downloaded the program and when I launch, I get a "cannot connect with Directv server" message. Anyone else had this problem and know what the problem is?

I realize that Luna was not a popular channel on XM, but it was a very good channel. DirectV has a latin jazz channel in their latin music neighborhood. Well, I finally did it. I had DTV installed yesterday and took my TWC HD-DVR back to the store at Mayfair last night. So far so good. The only downside I've noticed so far is that the receiver doesn't have a clock visible on the front like the TWC boxes. Oh well!! So does anybody have any advice to help me get the most out of what we told my daughter it is, TV from space? Thanks...

You do need that to get the game tonight....of course, the guy couldn't promise that it would be showed. However, you do get CSS with the SportsPack, so that was the deal-sealer for me.

I want to manually select TV channel 4 in Windows Media Center so I can view tv from my Directv box and control the box with the Directv remote. I had it but did a system restore and can't find it again. 1 person needs an answer I do too
