Hello. I have recently purchased an ELM327 interface off Ebay and have used Hyperterminal to successfully send and receive a few commands to it at 38400 baud. I would like to now use OBD-DIAG which looks like really great software with the interface. VNT Vane lever is not engaged I have been having overboost code and limp mode. done all the diag stuff. removed the vacuum actuator to check, and vane control lever is totally limp, it is apparently not attached to the adjustment ring internally. I have tried to make it re-insert, to no avail. Am I screwed now? Any suggestions? How did this happen? Arg.... ...

Starter is spinning. Thats the buzzing sound. But the bendix isn't coming out and catching the flywheel teeth. Take the starter to a rebuilder. I bet it would be alot cheaper than 300 bucks, and better than a 40 dollar used one
