Hi, I just bought a Netgear Wired DG834 from incredible connection and I am trying to set it up, (I have a Vista Ultimate 64 machine). The setup goes fine as far as I can tell, the power light is on, the ethernet I am using is on, (4 in this case), the DSL light is on, (not flashing). When it comes to actually setting up the ISP it does not offer me South Africa, so regardless ...

I have a script that I ran to record my SAR130 router stats, and I'm about to modify it to work with a DG834. I haven't actually seen any detailed info on the CLI interface, but can get most of the information I need with 'adslctl info --show'. I know the main difference between these models is the addition of wireless in the G model but would it be safe to assume that everything else is the same? I want to buy the DG834 as I don't need a wireless network but still would like to have the Broadcom CPU that the V4 and newer have. Can anyone offer some advice please? IDNet Home SuperMax

Hi, my modem busted so I bought a Netgear DG834 to replace it. This works fine, but I'm wanting to add my Linksys WRT54GP2 so I can use the internet wirelessly. I believe to do this I need to make the Linksys an AP. The Netgear accesses the web fine, but when wireslessly connected to the Linksys I can't get an address or internet. I've turned NAT and DHCP off on the Linksys, but it still ...
