We use local installs for each developer, the locally installed DB runs with no listener. TOAD, SQL Dev 1.5.5 and SQL*pluss all had no issues talking to my local install. Hello, I compiled dbxml 2.5.13 to use the system provided db-4.6 on an ubuntu 9.4 box. Unfortunatly this makes all programs using dbxml crash with a seg fault. Sebastian Leupold wrote you might need to install AJAX.Net 1.0 as well just for the initial setup. IT WORKED! My installation of AJAX was my problem. Installing AJAX.Net 1.0 as you suggested fixed my problem. I no longer receive the javascript errors, and completed several DNN installs using typical and custom install options. Problem Solved. I was right in my second post. I was misinterpreting what the below was doing however, and by the time my query sanitization method was complete, $query was equal to "". # $this->query = filter_var($this->query, FILTER_FLAG_STRIP_LOW); # $this->query = filter_var($this->query, FILTER_FLAG_STRIP_HIGH); Soon as I removed those, it all works hunky dory. ...
