For christmas I am going to be getting some recovery gear, currently I have nothing. My first question is what kind of strap I need. I know what the difference between a tow and snatch strap is and I am under the impression that I need a snatch strap to get pulled out/pull others out. Correct? Also should I look out for bad ones when buying them? Next of is tow hooks, I know I need ...

Hello! I made a mini album from a Maya Road chipboard album that was made like a 3 ring binder. When I was finished creating the pages, they no longer fit in the album! When you looked through it the pages were too tight and it would open the rings! UGH SO, I cut the spine with the rings off, so I could still use the already decorated cover, and now I am left with 10 decorated chipboard ...

I have stock bumper on 2003 TJ, there are those 2 bumper thingies on the very front of the actual bumper. If i remove those and drill a hole through the round tube that is on the front of the frame and runs across the front could i mount recovery rings there or would that possibley weaken the frame some how? They would be right where these square bumper things are and they would also be right ...

I have a 2004 TJ with tube bumpers front and rear. I added a winch to the front. I had to cut a slot in the top tube about 1/3 of the way and then welded a piece of steel in the hole and ground the weld down to make it look factory. I'm happy with that (will post pictures when I get back in town). My question is where can I mount some D-rings or hooks, the bumper is not heavy enough.

I have a brand new rear bumper that fit perfectly on my 97 TJ. I pulled it off when I sold my other jeep. It never saw any use, mud or weather. I consider it to be in excellent shape. I bought it from JCWhitney for $350 including d-rings and it also has the 2inch receiver for towing. This bumper is heavy duty and allows you to tow at the vehicle specs for tow rating. http://www.wranglerforum.com/...
