I feel like a douche for posting this but I cant find an answer so go easy on me LOL. Im building some d ring mounts for my Jeep that will portrude through my plastic bumper cover. The mount will be 1/2" thick with whatever hole size is necessary for the pin. So I want a d ring with a 11/16 or 3/4 opening so it will fit tight on the mount but it also needs to have a decent sized pin for strength....

Hi all: Been having extractor issues. DPMS Panther 20 inch classic. I have shot the gun twice and had all sorts of jams ups. I've used federal ammo 55 grain and some reloaded ammo and had the same results. Seems a lot of folks have the same problem. What do people think of the d ring that goes on the extractor? I've got an XTSL on the way to replace my Marathon. It was a bit of a PITA to get the D-ring in underneath the the seat track. Can I just hook the Radian tether on the Britax D-ring or do I have to replace it with the SK one?

Dear lord! Well it seems the shackles are pretty universal for their given material thickness. By the time I can find one with the dimensions I want the wll is too low. I'll be redesigning the mount with a 1" thick piece instead and using a 3/4" shackle. Thanks for the help guys.

I was looking up similar info a while ago for mine, and the kurveygirl website said almost all normal stock plastics take 14mm. Of course being over here I couldnt measure it myself so hopefully they are right. If its different let me know.
