I just can't help but think our D-Line this year is something special. Okay everybody knows back in 2007 the Giants had one of the best Defensive Lines with Michael Strahan, Justin Tuck, and Osi Umenyiora, their pressure on Tom Brady was a key reason to their Super Bowl victory and their success all year got them there. That year the Giants only had 53.0 sacks. I say only because this ...

The entire d-line had only 10 tackles, 2 TFL and no sacks. The "leader" of the group, Scott, had 4 tackles and 1 TFL. Is there another group in the NFL that gets so thouroughly dominated?

We have nobody that can rush the passer. Its inexplicable. Last year, wrecked with injuries, we still got some pressure with four. This year, under a defensive head coach, a new "aggressive" scheme, another year for "Ruskell's team" to be put together, and we can't even get what we had last year. Put this on the record; Mora and Ruskell ruined what could have been a top 5 defense this year...

Where we were lacking this year..........D Line. permalink In looking back on the season and thinking of what would have helped us win a couple more games this year, I would defintely have to say if we had a better D line we would have won a couple more games. Even when Parker, all year we seemed to get zero pressure on any quarterback, most game they would sit...

Although I do agree with most of what he (Magic) said, I do tend to disagree with whats in bold. Although Ruskell hired Mora and Mora hired Bradley, alot of the lack of production on defense (especially in the TO department, which is non-existant) has to fall on the shoulders of Gus Bradley. Now, do I believe at some point Jim Mora needs to let his voice be heard and take control of the ...

The Texans have one of the smallest d-lines in the league, by design. It's not working either. Last night, they went back into their slumber, and got ran all over. Repeatedly, Tenn. ran on 1st down and had 2nd and 4 or 3 all night . That makes play calling pretty easy......Johnson ran for what last night ??? Circumference of the earth...or something like that.

i think we are all agreeing that the saints are the team to beat in the nfl after seeing what they did to the pats...and also peterson has fumbling problems...thats going to hurt the team so much...and also the vikings are still vulnerable to the pass...the saints they can pass the ball at will.
