hey.. I've been trying for awhile now to get that consistant crash cymbal sound out of my drum machine. I almost have it, but not yet!! I think it may have to do with tuning in the right decay level, density and all those options in relation to the tempo of the song and the number of hits per measure? Remember, I want to hit the crash like hitting a ride...such as in BIG chorus sections......

I have a splash but nothing to mount it with. I was thinking of getting one of those extra cymbal arms that clamp to another stand, but is there any other way to mount it?

I'm getting my first set of electronic drums for Christmas. It's a ROLAND TD-3. I'd like to add a third cymbal for a ride. I hate to be cheap, but I don't have much cash left. Any ideas?

Hey Guys, My current set-up is: 17" HHX Evolution crash, AA 21" rock ride, AA fusion hats 14" I love the hhx crash, but the hats + ride are just way to loud and aggressive for me. I'd be playing jazz all day if I could, but the bands I'm in right now are more a mix of jazz/funk/ska/oldies/blues. I've had this set-up for about 4 years now, and I think I'm finally ready to ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1e82hIMlaw I really don't do this song any justice haha. I was playing the house kit, and you can see the tom angle's and cymbal angles.. I play all my drums flat, have for years. But, non the less I kept it simple, a couple foul ups but it was just a beer drinking open mic night haha. Enjoy.

Can you say Bosphorus special order? I talked to Jeff from Cymbal Shack in Michigan; we got an order all put together. He contacted Bosphorus yesterday and received confirmation of the cymbal getting to the U.S. in February. What did I order? This: 22" Turk Medium-Thin Ride, 2700-2800 vaginas It's going to be great.

I have just prgrammed in several bars of cymbal hits, one per beat, they are all velocity 100 and want then to about 125. I thought I could select a group of notes (which I can) and then adust the velocity in one hit - which I cant. I have looked and looked to see if I can do this, it seems logical that I should be able to, am I missing the obvious?...
