Yea, like the titles says. I can't open Cydia after I installed SDM. So how do I uninstall it without Cydia? Can I use iPhoneBrowser and then delete some files? or Terminal? Thanks in advance.

This morning I went to reload my packages in cydia and they didn't refresh, in fact all of my packages and sources are gone! There nothing in cydia at all! I've tried reinstalling and adding the sources manually but nothing is happening! It just keeps saying: ERROR: DATABASE encountered a section with no package: header

I pwned my iphone today. I ran Cydia and now have the folloowing issues; 1. Everytime I open it I get an error that says "Error Database- Encountered a section with no Package: header." After I click ok it loads the Cydia Home Page, but now all my packages and sources are blank along with the sections area (the only folder is the "all packages" but its empty). I tried a reboot as well as reinstalled Cydia and it still hasn't fixed the issue. Does this sound like an ...

I recently upgraded an iphone 1st generation (jailbroken) from 3.0 to 3.1.2. Everything works well except cydia and mobile terminal. Both crash immediately and can't be opened. I have tried a file without or with Icy (which worked) but same pb with Cydia & mobile terminal. Anyone has an idea how to fix this? Many thanks

One of the biggest pet peeves I have with Cydia is the constant refreshing that takes place. Not only does the app want to refresh after opening, it seems to also want to do a full refresh every time you add a source, or install a new app. On my 3G, I probably spend over a minute just waiting to launch Cydia for the first time. hi i recently jailbroke and unlocked the new 3GS. is there a way to transfer my cydia applications from my current 3G iphone to my new phone? i hate downloading again all my cydia apps from the beggining!!! maybe there is any software that i can use that im not aware of... I'm on 3.0 and I'm planning on upgrading to 3.1.2. From what I understand it is now fully jailbreakable and unlockable. How come cydia still has the message: "if you upgraded to 3.1.2 without using PwnageTool to do so you will not be able to uplock your phone at this time, and maybe forever after." am I missing something?

Well, i simply deleted Rock from my ipod (cydelete, hit the Red X) and cydia didnt work after, i tried respringing, rebooting, i ever deleted the Cydia.app and Rock.App and install Cydia From the blackRain App. Err, Any help on how i can get cydia back? I've installed 7 ICON springboard - everything worked fine; Then I decided to install a 5 icon instead and in the middle of installing - the phone completely restarted itself and now Cydia won't stay open.
