Seems to be a divide in the medical field...some docs say quit smoking if your pregnant, others say cut back. What did YOUR doctor tell you? (This question can be for non-smokers as well,) What do YOU think is more harmful for the baby...stress from withdrawl or chemicals/etc. from the smokes?

this year will be teh same as last year getting all my gifts before or just begining of December, all gifts will be useful no junk rubbish that will still be sitting in the packaging next christmas. All my gifts are faily small and i have a limit of £5 per present but will go over if it is for something that is wanted and needed. or on a good sale. Can i ask what do you normally put in grab ...

Depends on how much you smoke. If it is only a few a day try to stop if its more then cut back. Sometimes if you stop all together and your body is use to smoking it will be worse for the baby if you stop all together. I did not smoke but 2 of my friends that were pregnant at the same time as me did and they were both told to just cut back because their body will go through a rejection since they...

By the way Babi, I think the banks are safe. If you're going to stuff something away, buy gold coins. They will never lose their value. Paper money will lose a lot of value when there is inflation.

Actually, the best time to prune flowering shrubs is AFTER it has bloomed...any earlier, and you are removing the flowers. ANy later, and you are removing next seasons buds. That being said, forsythia is a very hardy woody perennial shrub and can tolerate a hard pruning. If you prune now though, keep in mind you are removing next Springs flowers.
