I thinking about asking the big man in red for a set of heated curlers for Christmas, though having never tried either heated or velcro curlers I'm wondering if it's worth the extra cost? Especially for time, but mainly for quality of the curls? Has anybody tried both? Thank you!

Hi girls, I have finally purchased at bunch of vintage aluminum curlers (Hollywood and Tip-Top) and wondered if I can ask for your experiences with them and if anyone has replaced the rubber bits on theirs (and what did you find that worked for that). The thing that appeals to me about these is the fact that they have an end clamp like curling irons do, and I hope that will help me get ...

So I am going to do my hair for dh's holiday party. My hair is super thick and can't really hold a curl ( when I use a curling iron) so I am going to buy curlers and give it a shot. So I was doing my research and a couple of sites said that it is better to not wash your hair when using hot rollers. Is that true because if I go a day without washing my hair it gets oily/greasy looking, I don't ...

I have tried so many things now... Sponge rollers, giant curlers, braid waves, bun waves... But even a single braid doesn't give me the desired "openness" of the wave that I want. Normally my hair has a slight wave to it, so if I use a lot of aloe vera gel and my fingers or the tail of a comb, I do get S-waves, but they don't stay in long without heat styling! (I usually put my hair in six braids...

I've been having problems with curling my lashes, and I've been trying out different mascaras, but after realizing I could get the Shu that everyone raves about for the cost of 2 tubes of mascara, I decided to buy it and try it out. As for the curlers themselves, the Shu seems to fit my eyes better. I tend to get a bit of pinching with the Revlon curler if I get as close to the lashline as I ...

Yup - This afternoon Shannon Kleibrink had a peach of a shot against Cheryl Barnard. It resulted in Barnard having to make a difficult draw against 4 - which she did - but the shot was something else. Gunnlaugson of course comes from a great curling family. He has a ton of confidence yet in his interviews comes across as both totally confident but also realistic and self-efacing - quite the ...
