I have a TenPoint Defender CLS Crossbow Package. Comes with ACUdraw, 3X Pro-View Scope, Quiver, and 6 arrows. Normally runs $1100. I personally took this in the woods a few times, but it has hung on the wall in the shop since I took it out of the box one month ago. Will come with warranty. This is one of the top crossbows out for 2009. $900 TYD

> I have a Barnett crossbow that doesn't shoot at all well. You can see the rear end of the bolt kick out sideways when you shoot and it doesn't group well. It has a cheap rest that is factory installed which is two thick wires that the bolt rests on. These wires can be bent to position the bolt better but try as I might I haven't been able to postion the rests such...

Me and the wife were in swainsboro today and stopped by one of the pawnshops there in town. I noticed that he had a Horton Yukon SL crossbow for sale with the scope and no quiver. I asked what the lowest amount he would take for it would be so he made me a offer of 125.00 which I thought was good but I'm a total noob when it comes to cross bows. So I'm here to humbly ask for any advise to help me...

I was in PoS and we had just taken down Ick, and what does he drop? A crossbow thats a clear upgrade for me (I was still armed with the true-aim long rifle from ToC H). I rolled need. A rogue in my party also rolled need. Apparently he needed it for stats. He won the roll. I feel like i got ripped off on that one. Anyway i got it the next day, but my question is: Is it right to roll need on a ...

Take a shot at the chicken on the road and try aiming this one at it. It bet it will work a lot better than your creaky old rusted crossbow. Why? Because is bloody electric and automatic too! You have a complete control over how many of them you want to know dead. And hey, it will kill them alright. All the good things done by this YouTube user called The Duckman666 (Satanist?) can be found on ...

dauntless: same. i've wasted hours and hours fantasizing about a crossbow release. boomer's example is great in that it's so simple. boomer: is this right? the trigger raises up the rod, which i'm guessing is milled flush against the piece of wood that holds back the string, the rod raises the string, which slams into a bolt-end (i'm guessing no need for nock with this design), propelling ...

What he was getting at was: Anyone can hunt during the muzzy season with a crossbow, all 3 zones. If you only possessed a "Firearm license" would be hunting under the muzzy rules. Thus must wear hunters orange. Bow season/rules-Orange not needed as you said...

I would call David from Wyvern Creations. He has been invaluable to me in getting started with crossbows. There are also great crossbow specific websites. Crossbownation.com is a good one for information on the forum.

In my search for a crossbow for David, I believe Jennings sold to Bear Archery. Bear Archery in 2006 had a major recall due to a faulty trigger and have stopped production of the crossbows. Hope this helps.
