Thinking of traveling to St Croix, my husband's friend is offering us a 4 bedroom house, but I'm Celiac and am afraid I'd be out of luck with eating. Has any traveled there and been able to eat GLUTEN FREE?

Hi guys, I've settled (thank heavens ) on a light to medium bucktail blank for the beach and occasional current use (bucktails from 3/4-2oz). I'll be building a 10ft 1 piece St Croix woven blank model 3SRS100M. As with the older blank models of St. Croix (like the Premier) it's a faster action blank and if like the other Premier factory rod I've owned, has the tip action I'm looking for ...

Having just recently attained my private pilots license I have been excited to share the joy of flying with my family members. This holiday weekend provided the excellent opportunity for that. I gave my mother-in-law and sister-in-law a nice tour of the St. Croix river valley and then returned to give my other sister-in-law a ride. My wife and three year old son wanted to go and since they had ...

I'm going to try and keep this from becoming a "what is the best" thread. Just started getting into some light plugging this year after fishing with bait almost exclusively for many years. I used an 8' St. Croix Premier with a Penn 450ssg for light plugs, and I have 2 10' Lamis (both SK 10 MHS) with Shimano BR 4500b's. Going to keep one of the BRs for bait fishing, but would like to move ...

I had all the best intentions of posting while I was in St Croix but beach gravity took over and before we knew it we were in the "chillaxing" mode ( chilling and relaxing). Our flight to STX from Balt was uneventful and we were at Hotel on the Cay by about 5:15. Smooth check in and on to the beach for a very quick swim. We had friends that had arrived a few days earlier and they...

Eeeeeeh. I had thought all St. Croix blanks were made in the USA. If they're not, I'll go for the USA product out of sheer irritability. Sometimes you don't have a choice. I doubt you can buy a plastic minnow that isn't assembled "Elsewhere". If I DO have a choice, I'll pay a premium for the USA product. The raw materials of the widget are less likely to be adulterated or straightforward ...
