They only ding your credit when you send the form back and they pull the credit report for real. Even then, one inquiry per year will not affect you, and if you do all 500 inquiries within the same 30 days, it is considered only one inquiry. But you do need to be careful about accepting every store card offered just to get their "free gift". Too many cards open is not a good thing. And if you...

Hi, My credit utilization is about 20% now, total lines $147K. I have 700+ FICO (CreditKarma shows 752) and perfect payment history, 0 INQ on EQ and TU.
