Recently a few of you guys, very few, expressed some interest in going to the drag strip again for some good old drag racing. I will be going to Dallas Raceway in Crandall on Dec 20th, 2009. This will probably be the last time I go until the track opens again in 2010 and the last time you can go without going alone. Last time I went out, I pulled a 12.2 with the clutch being fried to all hell...

I saw you out there yesterday at Crandall. I had my son with me and was too damn cold to come over and say hi! Lots of guys complaining about getting lose around the 1000 ft mark. Seems it was pretty scary. Glad I didn't have my car back. I only saw one of your passes. Any new PBs? When did you get that wheel combo?

http://www.vvaw.org/veteran/article/?id=1302 RECOLLECTIONS: Dedicated REMF Then and Dedicated REMF Now By Steve Crandall I've heard more than one comment coming from combat veterans regarding a lack of respect for REMFs, like if you weren't a combat veteran you weren't there. I was a weapons loader of F-4 aircraft at Danang in 1970 and yes, I was a REMF, a Rear ...

You get one positive vote, You get three negative votes (split them up between speedsters or give them all to one character…your call), And you get to Shields one speedster - a Shield means that speedster cannot receive any positive or negative votes until the shield is removed (all shields are removed Monday morning). 10 - Aurora (Jeanne-Marie Beaubier, Earth-3514: Days...

^You're Port Hawkesbury bypass route inspired me to take a closer look at my route and make some revisions. I actually made two options, one ending at Sydport Access Rd and the second ending at Hwy 125 in between the current Exits 7 and 8 (New 125 exit would be 7A). I worked around property lines at first, then worked around terrain (eyeballed it rather than going through the work of trying ...

Quoting AALuxuryLiner ( Reply 4 ): I wonder how the cabin crews handle knowing the " big boss" will be on the plane? In my experience, all but the very most militant flight attendants treat the executives with nothing but politeness and professionalism - just like any other employee would do at any other company on earth when the big boss is looking over their shoulder. ...

Quoting WorldTraveler ( Reply 73 ): It is high time for AMR's board to wake up and realize that Arpey has done nothing while AA has slipped further and further from its position of leadership in the industry Quoting BigGSFO ( Reply 78 ): This was AA 's to lose and it seems they have done just that. Another missed opportunity. Honestly, I have zero confidence in ...

Ten Things I Learned From “Pet Sematary:” 01: The soil of a man’s heart is stonier. A man grows what he can…and tends to it 02: What you buy is what you own, and what you own always comes home to you 03: never buy a house where trucks whiz by every five minutes at top speed 04: sometimes dead is better 05: if you’re going to stand watch for fathers returning home from ...
