I need to access one of the ignition wires under the steering wheel column to tie in an accessory wire. I can't figure out how this cowling comes off. I removed the two screws from the underside but cannot separate the two parts. I am concerned to much force and I might break it. Does anyone have any experience in getting this off a 2006 Escape Thanks for your help. Craig in North Idaho

Now I'm sure the raccoon has a lot more to complain about than me, but meantime the black plastic cowling on the passenger side has been pushed down and out. Looking for the rear plastic cover for a ZZR250 along with a front cowling, RHS mirror, RHS indicators. If the price is right maybe a RHS lower front fairing as well. At the moment I can get a damaged cowling from a wreckers for $150, mirror for $30, indicators for $80. If you can beat these prices or get better condition at a similar price, I'd like to hear it.

Thank to all for the replies and emails. The tug has been sold. The cowl is still for sale but after checking out the shipping prices it will have to be available only to someone who can pick up in Scottsdale, AZ. I have shipping quotes that exceed the sales price. For Sale: Bottom cowl for RV-8. This is the cowl without the scoop and used for fuel injected engines. Ordered but never used....

I think that the key switch socket is broken. Scooter ran just fine one day and was dead the next. I've had the batteries checked under load and they are ok. all electrical connections are ok. cant figure out how to get the cowling off the tiller to check current and switches. HELP

I inherited a 94 3.3v6 Voyager LE. 54K miles and light usage, and always well maintained. Downside is serious mouse infestation in the past and the interior REEKS of mouse. Started with cleaning the engine compartment and getting all the droppings nests off the engine. Partially pulled the cowling (could only get one wiper arm off...) and ran the fan on high and sprayed scrubbing bubbles ...
