If this ruling falls the way it's projected to, "major corporations--total profits of more than $600 billion per year for the top Fortune 100--will be permitted to advertise without limitation in Congressional, Senate and Presidential elections." More: QUOTE ...corporations often have foreign shareholders. Although barred as individuals from participating either through financial ...

“ Music City Game” can cost the loss of tens of millions in revenues to Branson and Missouri ? An August opinion of the Missouri Supreme Court (Court), “Music City Management, LLC v Director of Revenue” (Music City), changes the way that retail sales taxes on show tickets are collected and paid and authorized huge refunds of taxes already paid back to the plaintiff theatres. In doing so it ...

Reading a case in a local paper called the Victims Advocate. It's a nonprofit paper that was established to assist victims of crimes. The article i'm referring to was written by J.C. Howell, a Jacksonville attorney. He didn't really give his opinion on the article. Anyway, the article is about a gentleman that was convicted in 1990 of abduction and sexual assault on a woman. His ...

QUOTE (Christo @ Dec 17 2009, 10:35 AM) I think all organizations should be prohibited from making political donations and advertisements. I'd insititute a very simple law--if you don't qualify to vote, keep your nose out. It sounds simple, but I'm not sure exactly how that would work in practice.

I'm in favor of legislation being passed that would pursue witnesses, prosecutors, victims and even the judge if someone is wrongfully convicted. I can't imagine anything more horrible than being in prison for false reasons.

Good luck with that 90DC. If the bank gives you any nonsense then report straight away, banks have been giving everyone the run about on financial hardship cases for a while. Show them you mean business and you'll have a better chance of getting your cash back in a reasonable amount of time .

exempted national banks from state usury laws. Two states, South Dakota and Delaware have no usury limits on credit cards. That's why all national banks are incorporated in these two states. Oddly, a mafia gangster in the State of New York could be sent to prison for charging 18%, while Citibank can legally charge 35%. No wonder the mob is out of loansharking and is now concentrating on ...
