This has been about the 5th time In my life of just coughing up pure blood. My doctor first just said “it’s normal every now and then, the lining is just coming up..” then again I was told by the same doc. “it could be just a bad reaction to the hyper sal. So we’ll lower the dose” Well I haven’t done hyper sal in while, and sure enough at 3am last night I was coughing up a toilet full of blood ...

Help! Devin's cough has been going on for like an hour and a half straight! He has at least 2 coughing fits like this every night. I mentioned it at his appointment a week ago that he has been coughing about 2 weeks now and the Dr. didn't seem worried and said it could last all winter since he goes to daycare. It just seems worse than it should be I guess and it is SOO hard to listen to. We go...

At about 6 and a half weeks PG I started coughing off and on each day. I went to the doctor and he found no signs of sickness. Anyone else having this problem? The coughing sounds kind of like my MIL's cough which she gets from high blood pressure. But that's not a problem for me.

So... As I'm sure you're all aware I have a cold.. From when I woke up at 3 this morning in-till now it has only got worse.. The sneezing has almost stopped but has been pretty bad throughout the day and the coughing just hasn't stopped.. If anything the coughs have become harder.. I was just wondering if the constant prolonged coughing would be hurting or harming pip?? Probably a silly question...

You are called by the emergency-room physician to evaluate a 62-year-old man who complains of coughing up blood. Three weeks before presentation, the patient first developed small amounts of maroon-tinged blood in his sputum. At baseline, he has a chronic cough that was typically yellow-tinged until this recent presentation. During the past 3 weeks, his blood-tinged sputum has not changed in ...

Scientists have revealed how environmental irritants such as air pollution and cigarette smoke cause people to cough. My lovely daughter is now (unbelievably) 6 months old. She's started weaning and milk consumption is down to half of what it was. A few weeks ago she had a cold - nothing too bad, but lots of runny noses and she was a bit grumpy. Last week, a couple of times after being put to bed at night she'd have a fit of coughing. Again, nothing to outrageous and it wasn't upsetting her (or, from ...

Sore Ribs I have myself convinced that I've got mets to my ribs. I've had a cold/flu for weeks and did some serious coughing but I'm pretty much over that now. For the last week I've had this very ugly pain in my side, up high, close to my incision ... on the cancer side of course. I have an appointment tomorrow morning to see a...
