Cotto, Pacquiao, Marquez all have 67" inch reaches. Mayweather has a 72" inch reach Zab Judah has a 72" inch reach 5 inch reach advantage. Will it matter?

after watching this fight like 5 times already i think lack of strategy is what mest up cotto. cotto look very good in the first round and through out the 4th but i think cotto was winning the 4th round until the final seconds of the 4th is where he needed to think. that round was in his pocket he needed to move around the ring and box but instead he went toe to toe with pacman and that hurt ...

HBO didn't show fight night weight and Cotto didn't look as big as he did against Shane on fight night. Qualifying: I'm just asking a question. I know Mayweather didn't do a fight night weigh in against Marquez, but he looked regular sized. Cotto actually looked smaller (leaner) on fight night than he did in his previous 3 fights. Any official, verifiable facts on his fight night weight or ...

Both have had some rough outings, both leave family in shambles at ringside, JT suffered a concussion as of late, Cotto has taken thousands of punches to the dome, including a night of 200 some odd plaster punches. Who do you say has more of a chance of seriously getting hurt in the ring, and should pack it in? By the way, I do not agree with Cotto's new alias on this board, of being "the ...

I'm sick and tired of people hateing on Cotto because he lost to Manny and Margarito. This man fought top tier fights while he was comeing up and while he was champ. Please give this man the respect that he deserves. I was pulling for Manny in their fight but gained even more respect for Cotto for hanging in there as long as he did. People who have never been in the ring don't know what it's like...

I'm watching the fight on HBO and sounds like Cotto asked his corner to stop the fight as he walked back to his corner after round 11 and his coach (Joe) said, "No, one more!" Did I hear this correctly?!?!?! I hope not! -------------------- "We're going to see whether Kelly Pavlik can handle that initial shock after realizing, he's been lied to. That guy's not old!" - Bernard ...

not right away, but say berto gets past shane, and cotto rebuilds his career with some reasonable wins... say they fight................early spring 2011...i know that's light years away, butdo u think by that time cotto is too done, and berto is too primed for cotto to have a chance? or is cotto still just all around better than berto?

Just curious when you thought Bayless should have stopped it. I was surprised the fight went on as long as it did. Cotto showed some heart by not just giving up and taking a knee but he was a battered man long before the 12th round. I think it could have been stopped in the 10th if not earlier.

Cotto should be given credit for putting up a good fight and for displaying true sportsmanship, when the ref stopped the fight, Cotto just listened to the ref’s explanation. While Manny knelt in prayer, Miguel approached him and both fighters hugged and congratulated each other. It was a perfect display of sportsmanship and I was truly impressed with Cotto. Other fighters make excuses and throw ...

Wow did Cotto really catch a beating. Don't get me wrong, I love me some Miguel Cotto, even have an autographed boxing glove from the guy. But Manny really beat the shit out of him. I maintain that no one around Manny's weight class from 140-147 can trade with him. Maybe Mosley, but no way could he keep up and Berto still slaps.

http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=23679 The co-headlining will depend on the venue. If it's MSG, then the card will just have Cotto, if it's NY Stadium then the card will include both.
