hello all, i have a 92 chevy corsica and lately it has been hard to accelerate and has had a burning rubber smell coming from the car. Sometimes the car will accelerate fine after awhile and come out of the heavy bumpy (sounding like a vw bug) and drive for a few miles, shortly after that the car will go back to the same problem. I heard it could be the surpentine belt? Could this be the problem?...

anyone got a good running 3.1l for that will drop in my '96 monte? the lower the miles the better. prefer somewhat close, within 50 miles of 56474, but it all depends. i need it soon cause mines going to that better place real fast. what do you need for it?

Anybody else live in a cold, snowy environment? Up here in Alaska, its gotten down to the -Fs recently and this car SUCKS in the cold. I guess, when it warms up, it's fine, but it likes to make all kinds of noises like I drive a '92 Chevy Corsica. It's kind of sad that I'm driving a $30k car in the 2010 model year and I'm already creaking and rattling. Given, the cold affects cars...

Yeah im going Feb 2010, taking a couple of weeks to go from Calvi anticlockwise round the island. If the east coast is a bit too developed for wild camping i may just head back up the west coast.
