So anyone heard of a Swedish metal/rock act called Corroded? Just last year they signed to Ninetonce Records, a indie imprint of Universal and have been taking Sweden by storm (playing with other Swedish metal act Mustach as well as Whitesnake). They are also the new themesong for the new season of Survivor airing here in Sweden. Now I'm wondering if anyone has heard of them internationally as...

Good evening all, I have an issue with my beloved Freelander. Coming home tonight I was flashed by another car - I had a light out. Upon inspection the bulb was OK, however the lamp had a lot of water in it and the bulb holder is corroded. The lamp comes on when it is pressed down, but when the bulb is rotated into its keyslot the pressure comes off the contacts and the lamp goes off. I ...

The five year old battery in our 2005 Toyota Corolla S finally wouldn't start the car last week. I popped the hood and the plastic cover over the positive battery terminal. I noticed a lot of light blue corrosion dust around the corroded terminal. I went to Wal-Mart and got a new battery and replacement terminal. I took pictures of the repair process and wrote up a quick guide....

I just found quite the stash of ammunition while going through an old storage room and spent most of the afternoon sorting it. Among the lot was a pack of 10 7mm-Mag cartridges that are quite corroded. This might be a silly question, but what do I do with these? Is there a reasonable way to clean the corrosion? If not, how does one dispose of cartridges they don't intend to shoot?...

Hi all, My 2007 is suffereing from corroded wheel centre caps so I've put in a warranty claim, and I can't see any problems with them paying out. I also understand the actually alloys corrode as well and have found a few thread on it, however, none of them seem to describe or show pictures of what it actually looks like. If anyone who has had their wheels replaced can talk me ...

Against recommendation of a microsoft representative I unfortunately downloaded and am using IE8. I continue to make adjustments on my own to make it as usable as possible as I have not been able to contact a support person who knows how to make the software work properly, i.e., display pages that are legible and clear. On my pages the 'base' templates that change infrequently as one moves ...

I was working on replacing the EGR valve in my 98 SL this morning when I accidentally bumped one of the bolts off of the top of the battery. After prodding around and looking under the car, I couldn't find where the bolt went. I jacked up the car, took off the wheel, removed the inner splash shield and found this: Note to admins: ****! Ok, so the site doesn't let me post a photo until ...

On the underside of my 1972 Ambassador 29, have several detached and broken copper line connectors. The lines do not leak and the corroded fitting connectors are still usable. My question is-what is the best way to reconnect to the underside? Should I re-drill or try and reuse the old holes? I am sure others have had similar problems

It is an MOT failure main issues include rear spring cups corroded, hi idle and overfuelling issues. Thought Id try and sell this car without fixing and passing through MOt as the shell is ideal for a project. It is taxed till the end of the month (NOV). ...

The socket for a parking light has become corroded and needs to be replaced. The question is: how the devil do I get to it. It resides in the major portion of the front bumper. Do all sections of the front bumper have to be removed? Any tips and warnings will be appreciated.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. A federal probe of tainted Chinese drywall has broadened because a small number of homeowners are reporting that American-made drywall is causing some of the same problems: a sickening, sulfurous stench and corroded pipes and wiring. "We are not limited in the scope of our investigation to just Chinese drywall," said Scott Wolfson, spokesman for the ...

Had a few issues with my newly purchased 96 WRX Saloon. Got it checked over and the turbo is knackered basically. The shaft is sweet, but it's full of oil! So need a front entry TD04 in decent condition (no smoke, rattles etc) and also gonna replace the corroded Oil Feed Pipe for it too, but where can I buy one asap? If anyone on here has a low mileage or decent TD04 ...
