The property around my office has been very productive this year for copperheads. Today I figured i'd try again since it was warm and muggy and overcast. little closer, sorry for the pic, co-workers camera phone, everytime I bring my camera to work I don't see a thing. today brings this years total to 15 copperheads just at my office alone.

I just upgraded my CDP ICs to AQ King Cobras - nice. So, I have a set of 1m AQ Copperheads, RCA both ends up I'd like to offer for Karma. You gotta give Karmic engergy to the SD Chargers for Sunday's game against the Steelers if you want in. Winner announced Sunday after the game win or lose. Erik

I really want to get my hands on a pair of breeding black rat snakes to repopulate the woods near my house (in the 11 years since we've been here, we've only seen 1, yet we've seen loads of garters, ringneck, northern brown, and even 6-7 copperheads). I've searched the net, but am admittedly not so good at researching. Anyone know anything about where I could get them (I live in the ...

I used to hate them, killed any I came across, venomous or non-venomous. I stopped that after I became enlightened about their place in nature. But I still don't venture easily in places where I know of their presence. Here in Maryland we have Timber Rattlesnakes, Copperheads, and maybe some Cottonmouths in the southern part of the state, both eastern and western shore. I once came across a ...

WE live in CT in a wooded area. I know there are copperheads around here, but on Thanksgiving Day we found one in our garage. My husband was able to put it in an empty garbage can and he took it waaaayyyyy back into the woods and relocated it. Now a week later, I found another one in the garage. I was alone and I was able to get it out of the garage (with some difficulty) with rake and when I...

Let the RIVALRY begin. Statesville Owls vs Lake Normam Copperheads. Tom, I have a hot dog bet we take the series. Do we have a bet. Just 25 miles apart should be fun. I HAVE just fired the first shot.

Definitely no copperheads in Ontario - I agree you probably had a nest of totally harmless milk snakes. We used to get TONS of little grey baby snakes at my friend's old farm. Cute little suckers I've seen everything else there is to see in Ontario - the coolest was a Fisher in the woods when we were on a hack once.
