I've owned this Dell for about a year (second owner) and in the last three weeks the cooling fan for cpu/heatsink has taken a drastic change in its operation. When the pc is started, it starts relatively normal but over the next 10 to 15 seconds it seems to ramp up to its maximum speed (6000 RPM). I did a lot of reading and this fan isn't your typical type of a cpu fan (current rating is 2.3 A...

For X-mas im making a big upgrade for my computer. im upgrading from a single core amd 4000 to an amd phenom 9850 2.5GHz quad. instead of buying a whole new fan, could i just use the old fan from single core cpu? (im also buying a new motherboard and ram if any of that matters)

I have a 17-1/2 inch laptop that runs WoW beautifully, but after a few hours it does tend to get super hot. I've tried researching external fans and cooling pads, but I haven't had much success on finding a recommended one. I read that external (USB) fans actually cause the laptop to work more than it would benefit from cooling, and that cooling pads that go underneath are the way to go.. but ...

I bought a Rolex Submariner LV from an official dealer in October (new) Recently I started measuring the precision, and to my surprise noticed it runs fast, very fast It consistently gains 30 seconds per day, which is well outside the COSC specs Now..I phoned the guys at the store (a reputable store) and they said to test it for 10 days and get back to them as it might need some ...

Hi Guys, The MGTF160 VVC 53 reg I am currently working on has thrown up an ECU code of 0655, which I have been told is Engine bay overheat warning lamp drive but unlike earlier versions of the F I have worked on there dosnt seem to be a cooling fan motor in the LH vent, can anyone confirm if the TF160 VVC should have a fan or not? Thanks Guys. Brian.

I've been reading how some members have been installing solenoids in the I/C cooling systems to bypass the H/E. I'm currently running the Revan dual puller fan H/E and I'm awaiting a larger stock location reservoir ice tank. Without a bypass the water/coolant will flow through the H/E after the iced reservoir tank. I would imagine that the heat gain would be minimal, but I was wondering if it ...

I have a small cooling fan (I guess they're called "muffin fans?") that I'd like to set up for some forced cooling of my Dynaco FM-3 tuner that I'm putting into a wooden cabinet. The fan is rated at 120V AC, 0.07 amps. It blows a lot of air and is reasonably quiet but not quiet enough. I ran it on my variac to see if I could slow it down enough to be silent while still pushing what I guess to be ...
