Am going to be removing my EK fullcover waterblocks from my two EVGA 8800gtx cards to refit the standard EVGA 8800gtx air coolers... But am not sure what thermal compound or pads to use on the memory ... Do i just use Arctic Ceramique Thermal Compound on the memory or do i need to get hold of some thermal pads ?? can anyone help on this ???

Hi all, I've been dabbling into OCing recently, and am just wondering how much better something like the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro rev 2 is, when compared to the Core2Duo stock coolers? It seems pretty decent for around £20 or so, unless someone can recommend something that cools better (that isn't twice the price!!) Cheers

Just an FYI for those interested the Polar Bear coolers are on sale, 1/2 price. Code is 2112. We have always used carry on in our travels to thecaribbean but we were able to ship a box down before our trip with books, bug spray, sunscreen etc. For our first trip to Eleuthera in May I am thinking about checking all our bags. This would also enable us to bring down food....

Any advice please for a bewildered old fat woman? I would like to get Arnie a Cooler as he does get rather sweaty at times. I have looked into whats availiable and hear good things about Thermatex rugs but they are about twice the price of most others. A Thermatex cooler in Arnies size is about £120 so I would have to hide the receipt form OH Are they worth the money do you think?...
